This month, we are proud to launch the A Rabbit’s Foot Short Film Competition, whose inaugural theme is ‘The Senses’. Whilst sight is the primary faculty of cinemagoers, smell, taste, touch and sound are just as significant to film. Whether it’s a madeleine moment or a mazurka, the taste of cherries or the feel of fabric, these are the moments in film that become embedded in our hearts and embodied in our memories.
On the hunt to discover emerging voices in film, we have teamed up with our sister company Rabbit’s Foot Films, and will offer £10,000 to the winning entry. Your short film will also be hosted on all A Rabbit’s Foot platforms and you will receive mentorship and the opportunity to develop your debut feature with Rabbit’s Foot Films. The judging panel will consist of our Editor-in-Chief Charles Finch, as well as other filmmakers, actors and industry executives to be announced.
To enter, send a link to your short film by the 16th August 2024 to info@a-rabbitsfoot.com with the subject line “ARF Short Film Competition”. Please include your full name, address, phone number.
