LA-based photographer Max Montgomery shoots an electrifying reimagining of Gus Van Sant’s trailblazing sophomore feature Drugstore Cowboy, starring Penny Lane and accompanied by a short film by Matilda Montgomery. Inspired by Kelly Lynch and Matt Dillon’s performances in the groundbreaking film, Montgomery paints Lane and model Bryce Alakai as lovers on the run, with looks provided by Bazaar Tyler, L’ecole Des Femmes and stylists’ vintage archives, Los Angeles.
